Simon Han’s debut novel is forthcoming from Riverhead Books. His stories have appeared in The Iowa Review, Guernica, Electric Literature, and the Texas Observerand his essays have appeared in The Atlantic and Lit Hub. He’s received scholarships and fellowships from the MacDowell Colony, the Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference, the Sewanee Writers’ Conference, the Tulsa Artist Fellowship, and Vanderbilt University, where he received his MFA. Born in Tianjin, China and raised in various cities in Texas, Simon is currently a visiting assistant professor of creative writing at the University of Tulsa.
