Simon Han’s debut novel, NIGHTS WHEN NOTHING HAPPENED, is forthcoming from Riverhead Books (Nov 17, 2020). His work has appeared in The Atlantic, The Iowa Review, Guernica, Electric Literature, the Texas Observer, and elsewhere. He’s received awards from the MacDowell Colony, the Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference, the Sewanee Writers’ Conference, the Tulsa Artist Fellowship, and Vanderbilt University, where he earned his MFA. Born in Tianjin, China and raised in various cities in Texas, Simon is currently a visiting assistant professor of creative writing at the University of Tulsa.
